For Interview title, type in for example Interview with Veterinarian Renae Nelson. Next change Interviewer to Interviewee and type in the name of the person you interviewed. Add the date! Clip #2. In pop up Export your citation list box, Where would you like to export your citations? Choose Google Docs. 3. Hit Export. This will take a few seconds. 4. You will see a message that says "Click the button below to complete your export." Click Export to Google Docs. 5. You will next see a green messasge that says "Your file is successfully exported to Google Docs." 6. Got to Google Docs and find the file that just exported. It will be called Works Cited with a bunch of numbers. 7. Open it, Select ALL of it, then copy and paste it to the last page of your I-Search Paper. 8. Then right below your Works Cited citations, create a list numbered 1-6 or 1-7 to match the total number of sources on Works Cited. Then create the in-text citations for your sources. What goes in parentheses? (Last name of author pg#) (Last name of author and Last name of author pg#) ("Title of Article" pg#) can shorten if it's long ("Title of Article") no page # Citing 2 sources in same sentence that have similar info (Last name of author pg#; Last name of author pg#) 9. When most people shop for a vehicle, they do a lot of research first. Not all cars are created equal. They're not all taken care of regularly. They don't all have good owners. They don't all get good reviews. Similarly, not all online resources are created equal, and as a student, it is important to cite only reliable ones that can get you where you need to go to answer your research question! So how do you know what is a reliable source? It's a great reminder of how to Quote, Paraphrase or Summarize to avoid Plagiarism! --One common error I'm seeing on Works Cited pages is that ProQuest and EBSCO sources are missing pieces of info that show up ONLY if you export correctly out of those two databases. ALL of your ProQuest or EBSCO sources will have volume and page #s listed WITHIN the citation AND siouxlandlib will be in the address if done correctly. If they are missing that info, you either did not convert the citation to MLA before exporting OR you just Googled for the article later in your research and used the web citation.
