So Nick's a writer and under the care of a psychologist???
Half an hour in, after Gatsby's grand entrance, pause and read THIS ARTICLE.
Record thoughts on similarities and differences on notecard provided (plot, dedication to script, music, costuming, cinematography, characterization, etc.)

Reviewers comments:
"The 2013 Gatsby is made for a generation of people who don’t read, who have no attention span,  no depth or subtlety, and must be enticed by plastic characters with obvious emotions and by loud glitzy things in order to get the point. It’s an MTV Gatsby!"

"Three of five stars. While the acting was solid and the visuals were amazing, the execution of the storytelling left some to be desired, and the Fergie and JayZ-heavy sound track was less than true to the spirit of the Jazz Age."

A music soundtrack review:  Look at this great headline!
