Week of December 21-22
🎄Monday 12/21 READ! Visit library to check out a extra book for break! 🎄Tuesday 12/22 (1:30 Dismissal) Today's Assignment: Final 2020 Quick Topic Week of December 14-18 🎄Monday 12/14 MAKE IT Monday! Start December Book Project. Please have this done by Friday if possible! Today's Assignment: 1. In Google Images, find a high quality colored photo of your Christmas book cover. Choose the BEST quality photo that you see! Right click on that image and choose SAVE AS to maintain best quality for enlarging. Then open a Pages document and drag the image to that document. SIZE the image to 7" by 5" using the corners on the document, then save as a PDF and email to me to print in color. Cut around the 8x5 image once printed. 2. See the sample on the speaker table. Wrap a manilla folder with Christmas Wrap. Choose the wrapping paper that best matches or enhances your book cover photo. I cut 4 of each color for variety in the display. 3. Turn your manilla folder horizontally. On the speaker table to avoid mess, Lightly Rubber Cement the back of your book cover image and glue it to the manilla folder on the left or right half of folder. 4. Write your name on the back of your wrapped folder and leave it in the blue tub on back shelves to ADD to tomorrow or later this week. READ when finished. 🎄Tuesday 12/15 No laptops, no interruptions READING DAY 🎄Wednesday 12/16 Assignment: Post to QuickTopic-Quick Update Pick up the activity for the OTHER half of your wrapped gift. Write out your responses on another piece of paper BEFORE writing on the activity so that it's NEATLY done IN RED or BLACK INK on your final draft that you'll glue on your wrapped folder. If/When you finished your Christmas Book, lightly rubber cement the written activity on the other half of your wrapped folder. The final step is to choose a Christmas Bow to match. Completed projects will join the displays in the hallway. 🎄Thursday 12/17 1. Update your ONLINE Reading Log! 2. If you didn't get this done yesterday, Assignment: Post to QuickTopic-Quick Update 3.
